User Guide Cloth Nappies

Why cloth nappy?

The answer can be summarized in three valid arguments: cloth diapers are gentler on the skin, better for the environment, and will be significantly cheaper to use in the long run.

1. Our cloth diapers are made from natural materials that are significantly gentler on small, sensitive baby bottoms than disposable plastic diapers.

2. Cloth nappies are kinder to the environment as you only need to buy a few nappies that will last you the entire nappy cycle, which can then be recycled.

3. Cloth diapers are better for the household economy because they can be reused again and again - throughout the diapering period.

Below you can read more about our different diaper systems.

All-in-one diaper

An all-in-one diaper is an option that does not require any extra inserts but has full functionality immediately. With this nappy, nappy changes are easy and smooth. The diaper is available in four different sizes for maximum fit.

Use

The soft and adjustable velcro is easily wrapped and makes diaper changes easy and smooth, and the practical washing tabs protect the velcro from getting caught in another laundry.

The soft seal around the legs provides an effective leakage barrier and the diaper has a waterproof outer fabric (PUL) that breathes, is soft, and durable. The absorption core is made of certified organic cotton terry and the fixed inserts, which can be folded depending on where you want the most absorption, are also made of organic cotton.

What do you need?

If you wash every three days and change about eight times a day, you need 24 diapers. You may also need extra posts for the night for the older children.

All-in-two diaper

The all-in-two system is the most affordable and economical option as the diaper is adjustable and can be used during almost the entire diaper period. The diaper fits children between 4-16kg.

Use

The diaper grows with your child and fits throughout the diaper period. The diaper consists of a waterproof outer pant, then you add the insert that suits your child best. The all-in-two inserts are specially designed for the diaper where they snap together with the pants, these inserts come in two sizes. If you have a small baby under approx. 8 kg, may be enough to use the small insert. If you have a large child or need more absorption during the night, you can put an extra insert loosely in the trousers. The diaper pants can be reused for 2-4 diaper changes before needing to be washed.

What do you need?

Our all-in-two products can be purchased separately or in sets. So you can choose for yourself whether you want to buy diaper pants with or without inserts. This allows you to put together the best solution for your particular child. If you are going to use cloth diapers for the first time, our starter kit is recommended. We recommend that you have about 6-8 all-in-two diaper pants and 18 inserts. This covers a need for 8 changes a day and that they are washed every three days.
