Quality

For us, quality in every aspect is the most important thing in designing toys and products for young children, because we want to go against the wear-and-tear trend that exists today in the toy market. Our toys and children's furniture are designed to become personal possessions for children to enjoy into the future. This is why we use natural and sustainable materials in a timeless design so our products can be appreciated, loved and handed down from child to child for a better tomorrow.

Safety

We take great responsibility in developing safe products for the little ones and safety considerations permeate our entire company. We insist on high standards for our products, which are thoroughly tested in accordance with current safety requirements in Sweden and Europe and CE marked. The products are tested for everything from material selection, construction, and colour to the presence of any chemicals. When you buy products from us, you can feel secure that it has been manufacture, tested and approved according to all the strict regulations in place. Our toys meet the requirements of EN71-1,2,3. We also guarantee that none of our products contain BPA, PVC or phthalates. As members of the Toy Industry Association, as a supplier we receive ongoing guidance on safety issues and information on new and forthcoming regulations.

More information on CE marking

For a toy to be approved, it must have a CE marking. This means that the toy meets the requirements of, among others, standards EN71-1,2,3. Our strict adherence to this standard means that we ensure that the toy is safe in respect to small parts, choking hazard, dyes, pinch hazard, flame safety and certain chemical substances. To ensure these standards are met, an independent laboratory tests the toy before it is released onto the market.

Production

We manufacture most of our products in Asia, in particular in China. We collaborate with about twenty factories around China and part of our work is to visit our manufacturers regularly. It is important for us to be able to monitor our production and, more importantly, to check that the factories we work with comply with all the regulations, environmental and labour requirements. Most of our suppliers have also been with us since the beginning and we therefore have a very close and good working relationship with them. The people working in our suppliers' factories often come from the village where the factory is based. They live and work close to family and friends, go home for lunch with the family and have a steady income avoiding the need to move to larger urban areas. The majority of our suppliers are members of SEDEX, a global membership organisation dedicated to advancing improvements in ethical and responsible business practices. Most of our factories are audited on an ongoing basis according to well-established initiatives such as BSCI and SEDEX.

Environment

Over the past year, we have worked hard to eliminate all unnecessary plastic from our outer and inner packaging and have chosen to replace it with more sustainable materials such as cardboard.
