How to fold the babys nappy

Triangular folding
Triangular folding is a fold that provides considerable absorption where it is needed the most, but unlike glue folding (which is like an insert), a triangular fold can be wrapped around the thighs and provide a leakage barrier.

Spread out the flat nappy.
Fold in half.
Fold in half again.
Fold the nappy so that the corner with all the original corners is on the top left.
Grab the top corner and pull it straight towards the right until a neat triangle is formed.
Turn the nappy upside down.
Fold from the side so that a flap is formed in the middle.
When the nappy is put on, it is folded up in the middle and then in from the side. The edges around the thigh are tucked in to create a leakage barrier.

Kite folding Spread out the flat nappy.
Fold in the corners from the right and left so that the sides meet in a vertical line along the centre line.
Fold down the top triangle.
Fold up the bottom tip to meet the top tip. Once the nappy is put on the baby, the sides can be squeezed together before folding it up to get a good fit. If you wrap the edges around the thighs, you will have a leakage barrier.

Mini kite folding
Mini kite is a fold that fits newborns really well! It is, just as the name suggests, a smaller version of the kite fold.

Spread out the flat nappy.
Fold the corners in towards the middle.

Flat folding When you want to use a flat nappy as an insert, then a simple flat fold is something for you!

Spread out the flat nappy.
Fold in half.
Fold in half again.
Fold three times.
